Letting Myself Be Drawn...

This is my first post on my new mission of daily blogging! Thank you for being here. I hope you will strap in and stick around for the roller coaster of it all.

Today I'm just going to out-poor what's there...

I've never done anything like this before, so I presume things will be a little messy at times. Some days will be brilliant and bright and inspiring. Some days I'm sure I will be writing something from nothing and it won't be so great.

Either way, I'm in for the long haul.

You know you're on the right track when the thing you're pursuing keeps you up at night and wakes you up in the morning without your alarm clock.

Well, I suppose losing sleep isn't always a good thing. But in this case, I am definitely being silently pulled by this passion and purpose that has been calling, tugging and pulling for years.

Lately writing is all I can think about!

When the ideas flow like the Niagara Falls when you're at the gym, in the shower or driving.. Why, when you can't write them down?! I must find a way to capture more of them without risking my life!

But actually, for once, it is worth the risk! Don't worry, I'm not going to risk my life, but you get it.

Isn't it funny, how we resist and avoid the very thing that we believe we were put here to do? For years!

It's actually not funny. At all.

Some people die with their dream still inside of them.

Why do we think of, ponder and dream about something for so long, but when we go to do it there literally feels like there is something invisible stopping us.

Oh, the ego, the self sabotage. Oh, the things we think we're doing to protect ourselves, when actually we're suffocating our own soul and smothering the reason for our own existence on this planet!

No more of that nonsense! It's time...

Time to pick up the pen, the pencil, the paintbrush, the phone, whatever it is. Take the action. For me, it's this blog.

This is just the beginning.

I finally feel like I'm on the right track, like I'm listening and following my purpose. I'm terrifyingly excited and I can't wait to see where this all goes. The Universe is lighting and leading the way. This I know.

If you are here and you are reading, please let me know. You can post a comment or send an email. Sometimes it's just nice to know you're not actually talking to a virtual wall. Just like you, sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone.

Day one, done :)

Always love,
Mimi
xoxo
